It was true, a S-rank Farr being among them was indeed a fantasy that they could only dream off.
S-rank Farrs are monsters in a good sense. They are stronger than any other Farrs, their talents and skills are beyond what a normal person could think of.
They are able to solo parts of the Abyss and establish their own territory when suitable, they were on another level.
To see S-rank Farrs is very rare as they are at the pinnacle of Frars. Their presence can only be seen when there is a large call from their guilds, into the Abyss.
But the truth was, those who are known as S-rank Farrs are those who took part in the defense of humans three years ago, when the catastrophic storm descended, so they are treated as royalty.
The monsters that appeared that day were nothing like most farrs have seen in their ti in the Abyss.
It is true that the Abyss is a vast space with different monsters of several kinds, even ones that are not normally seen in the human world.
But that’s less than one percent of the majority of monsters in the Abyss.
After the storm had been defeated and the Abyss opened, the majority of those large monsters ran inside it and had never been seen again by any regular Frar, no matter their exploration.
This just tells how vast the world of the Abyss is.
Monsters are classified into different categories, using the Frars ranking hierarchy, but sowhat different.
There are Small Monsters which are under the D-rank, Mid Monsters under C-rank, Large Monsters under B-rank and Ex-Large Monsters known as A-rank.
D-rank and C-rank monsters are known as lesser monsters, while B-rank and A-rank are known as higher monsters, there is a massive difference in strength.
Of course, these are the monsters that most farrs had encountered in their ventures into Abyss, but there was one more category.
Grand Monsters - S-rank.
These are the monsters that had descended with the storm three years ago. They are monsters that are said to be on pair with S-rank Farrs.
These are the monsters that probably rule the Abyss, but no one knows for sure. Although it is assud, as these monsters are said to have intelligence, unlike the others.
They are large massive and scary creatures, carrying with them death and despair. They are the pinnacle of evil and its deeds.
It is said that if a farr is inside the Abyss and encounters one of them, they should flee on sight, and pray that they are not found.
They are known for their violence actions of killing and destruction with their possession of magical powers.
The Terror that hit the world years ago was still engraved in the people’s heart, and hasn’t been forgotten.
"_-_"
"Who is he?" one of the Farrs asked, curious.
"I don’t know his na, I have never seen him before." another Farr responded.
anwhile, Nyra and her team all listened carefully. Of course, they knew who he was but said nothing.
"Hold on, I know him!" A certain male farr uttered, his body covered in blood.
He walked to the front of the group and pointed towards Aegon, saying.
"He’s that F-rank Farr. The one who has the weakest talent in history."
"Huh?"
Confusion stirred and so farrs were doubtful.
"Are you mad? That’s the Farr with the F-rank talent?" Soone said to the farr who claid that Aegon was the weakest farr ever.
"He has surely lost his mind after fighting a lot of monsters." another Frar attacked.
"I’m telling the truth, I know what he looks like." the Farr who claid, tried to defend himself.
But the other Frars didn’t agree.
"If he is the person you say he is, that would an this is his first ti in the Abyss, and would be a newbie."
"If so, then how can you justify the way he fights? The amount of skills he possesses? If that’s not how a S-Rank Frar fights but a re F-rank, then I guess I have died and been brought into the wrong world."
Hearing these words, so of the Farrs laughed, but it didn’t last as their bodies; full of pain, couldn’t take it.
"Believe what you want. I know what I know." the Farr who claid, said.
There was a mont of silence as everyone watched Aegon fighting, puzzled. Then a voice spoke out:
"There’s always the case he faked his talent, using a controlled thod to suppress it."
All the Farrs turned to Sinon as she says this. Even Nyra looked at her, having an expression that said ’what are you doing?’
Feeling their gaze, Sinon added:
"I an, it’s not as if it isn’t possible. There have been rumors that so Frars are capable of doing so, such as those who work for the Frar Association."
There was another silence, but this one didn’t last longer than the previous.
"That’s just a tumor." Nyra uttered, her eyes still on Sinon.
No other Farrs dared to speak as they knew where their rank stood. Out of all the Frars in this current place, it was Nyra and Sinon who were the strongest.
So there’s no way a low rank Farr would put mouth when two farrs above their ranks were speaking.
Sinon turned to Nyra, and for the first ti since she spoke, their eyes t. It almost felt as if a battle was about to begin between the two of them.
Of course, this was what the lower farrs thought since they would feel their intimidating mana surging.
After staring for a long ti, Sinon took away her eyes and looked sowhere else saying;
"It was just a thought, anything can happen in this world. We never know who is who."
Sinon knew what that look Nyra gave her ant. She rembered what Nyra had told her about Aegon when they first t, before the challenge started.
’He is a F-rank farr and needed help into the Abyss, so I took him in.’ she had said.
Sinon also knew that Nyra doesn’t work with people she didn’t know, but if she had accepted Aegon into her party, that would an she had seen sothing in him.
Hearing what she has said, both their surging mana cald down, and the Frars would breathe again as they pleased.
There wasn’t going to be a fight.
Although Sinon was two years older than Nyra, she still had respect for her.
Not just because they were friends, but because of the difference in strength, as Nyra was stronger than her with a single stage.
It is known that no matter the rank or stage between Farrs, the difference was far beyond being close.
Nyra also looked away, her gaze back at Aegon in the distance, who now was almost covered with the cold mist.
"That’s true." she uttered. "But even so, it is good that we have such a strong Frar at our side."
"If he wasn’t here, we would have already been dead by now, considering the fact we are almost out of mana."
There was another silence, this one a bit longer.
’There’s still sothing I don’t get...’ Nyra thought inwardly. ’...if he’s a S-rank Farr, why would he suppress his rank and decide to enter the Abyss when he could solo it himself?’
’Hold on what if his rank is actually F-rank? Then how did he get that powerful in a short ti? It’s such a mystery.’
The questions stuck in Nyra’s heart, as she couldn’t get the answer for this question; it was very difficult.
’Unless...’
At that mont, a bell rang and instantly she raised her head up, looking at the image above as if her heart had told her to do so.
