Sitting inside his room, which was dark and only mildly illuminated by a small candle lamp, Floki went through the box and retrieved the book.

The book looked quite big in his hands compared to when it was laying in the box. It had so many pages, with a thick black cover that had no titles on it.

[ You’ve obtained a bronze-grade technique book: Trap Setter ]

[ Do you want to learn this technique automatically. Note: it would cost 50 skill points and would take up to 20 minutes to take effect. During the process, you might feel so mild headache or migraine. ]

"A technique on how to set traps?" Floki rephrased, clearly elated by the content of the book.

It made sense, considering he obtained it from the goblins who were naturally trap setters.

Nonetheless, looking at the requirents to learn the technique, he was quite conflicted.

"Migraine for 20 minutes? Just tell you want dead, system," he complained.

"I should just check it out myself," he concluded.

Proceeding to flip the book open, he was greeted with the most gibberish writing he had ever seen.

It was like the playful scribbling of a one-year-old. Not a single word was intelligible, and there were no diagrams to help understand it.

"Did the goblin write this?"

Only that could be the explanation.

Heaving a small sigh, he finally succumbed to the system’s demands.

[ 50 skill points has been deducted. Remaining skill points: 480 ]

[ Impact process has begun. ]

[ 1% ]

With the final prompt, a mild headache began. It was subtle at first and very bearable.

Nonetheless, as ti went by, it gradually developed into a harsh migraine that made Floki’s body twist painfully as he grabbed his head, using all his willpower to hold himself back from screaming loudly and drawing the attention of the villagers outside.

Painfully, 20 minutes went by, and as the pain vanished, a new knowledge replaced it.

It was difficult to explain, but Floki suddenly felt like he had been practicing trap setting since the day he was born.

There were dozens of thods in his head, hundreds of traps, each with their own special effects. Not only the thods and types, he also had all the ideas about the materials required for each one of them and even how to enhance them to target more people effectively.

"This... I struck gold!"

Considering his current shortage of n, wouldn’t it be smarter to lure his enemies into a deliberate trap and slaughter them without risking the lives of his n?

Floki’s joy at the mont knew no bounds.

Now all that was left was to find the materials, set the traps, and then use so outsmarting strategy to rile the Blackstone soldiers up and lead them into the trap.

It would be way easier this way.

"System, your evil plans are quite beneficial after all." With much rrint in his heart, he threw a jab at the system.

But the system was unresponsive.

He was used to the silent treatnt by now and simply ignored it and brought out the next two items.

[Low-grade healing potion:

Restores 100 HP instantly after consumption. Also carries a soothing effect for all forms of open wounds. Nonetheless, this soothing effect does not apply to inner or soul injuries.]

’This is what Breeze gave to back in the goblin den,’ he thought.

He stored it in his inventory and then went straight for the crystal.

[Experience crystal (Bronze-grade) Consumable item. Once consud, grants 5,000 - 10,000 EXP]

’More rewards to use for Quest Provider later,’ he smiled.

Not wasting a mont, he tossed the tiny crystal into his mouth, and the mont it t his tongue, it lted into a warm and sour liquid before sliding into his throat and then his stomach.

[You’ve consud (bronze-grade) experience crystal, you’ve obtained 7500 exp]

[Total EXP: 17,000]

With all these finally settled, it was ti to use the skill he had been hoping to use ever since he obtained it.

He brought out the parchnts and the bottle of ink he found yesterday, placed them neatly on the ground, dipped the quill pen in ink, and began writing on the parchnt.

He used the sa format as his system, excluding certain details.

TITLE: Training

DESCRIPTION: Complete 100 push-ups

DEADLINE: 24 hours

REWARD:....

When it ca to the reward part, Floki wrote down a large number, 1000.

[ Reward too large for current mission difficulty. ]

Floki humd softly and cancelled out the last 0, and the system still triggered a warning.

He cancelled out another zero, and there were no warnings at all. But the current number of EXP was too low to be significant to people like Anton and Jabba, who should be at least level 6 based on their strength.

Unfortunately, he had no inspection skill to actually gauge their levels, thus in his ntal chart, he had added one more item to purchase, an inspection skill.

He added two more exercises to the quest details and increased the number of reps.

He went over the quest details once again and smiled to himself. Then, without wasting ti, he walked outside.

The villagers were all seated on makeshift chairs and rock boulders, listening to Angelina and her colleagues, who reported about their village.

The moonlight shone upon the feasting villagers.

It wasn’t midnight yet, so naturally the mysterious night laugher had not begun laughing yet.

Floki found Anton and gave him the parchnts.

Anton read them with squinted eyes and a look on his face that suggested he had no knowledge of how to read.

’Crap!’

Floki cursed inwardly.

All his efforts would be wasted if this guy could not read the quest.

"Let read it for you."

Angelina, who had just finished speaking with the people, strolled to their side after seeing Anton struggling to read.

But Floki was rather dejected.

’If she reads it, wouldn’t she beco the one who has to do the quest instead?’ he wondered.

[ Negative. The quest can only be carried out by the individual you intended for it. In the case of an illiterate, the quest can be read out to them. Simply understanding what they have to do would bind them to the quest. ]

With the explanation, he was relieved.

Angelina held the parchnts and read everything clearly, her voice calm and gentle.

Nonetheless, after she was done reading, both of them turned to look at Floki with confusion.

And coincidentally, both of them blurted out at the sa ti.

"What is push-up?"

And once again, Floki realised he had miscalculated.

How did he really expect these barbarians to know what these exercises were?

Thankfully, the exercises were easy to teach, so he began teaching them.

He entered a push-up position.

"This one is push-up. Doing this daily would help build your arm muscles and give you more strength," he explained.

His demonstration drew the attention of every villager, and they gathered around him.

Observing him exercise as though he was performing so sort of impossible movent.

"This is sit-up. It targets your core and helps refine your abs."

He pointed at Anton’s exposed abs to help them understand what he was saying better, as all of them seed confused at the ntion of abs.

He went on to show them how to perform squats and told them their importance.

Anton fully grasped his explanation at the end of it all, and with that, he accepted the mission.

[ You’ve triggered a quest for follower: Anton ]

[ 150 EXP has been deducted from your total EXP. Once ’Anton’ completes the quest, it would be instantly distributed. Nonetheless, after the deadline expires and the quest is not completed, the EXP would be refunded. ]

"Good... Let us get my follower evolution started."
