The event of another human appearing wasn’t even in Floki’s frantic prayers earlier; as a result, he was just as shocked as the goblins, who beca eerily quiet at that very mont.

Even the won fell silent as well, their cries ceasing as they stared at the newcor. But this ti, it wasn’t out of hope, but rather uncertainty and unease.

It was the sa for the goblins. They, too, were unsettled, their earlier aggression montarily replaced by hesitation.

First of all, it was completely impossible for soone to break the huge boulder they had used to block the entrance due to the material it was made from.

Yet, even with that said, the rock was not entirely indestructible, and a certain level of strength could still shatter it. By so strange possibility, this stranger possessed that strength.

But then, how did he manage to break the rock, infiltrate their den without getting caught in the traps they had carefully set, and most importantly, do all of that without making a single sound?

Ignoring the assessing gazes directed at him by the goblins, the black-attired figure lazily tilted his head toward Floki, who lay battered on the ground.

At the sa ti, Floki managed to turn his body toward the stranger, ignoring the pain triggered by the movent.

Their eyes t.

Floki scanned his appearance, observing his uniquely handso yet pale face, his black hair, and black eyes, then his posture, slouched shoulders and a head hanging tiredly as though he could fall asleep at any mont.

For a brief mont, the faint hope that had appeared in his heart when he first heard a human voice vanished completely.

It was replaced by doubt, and coincidentally, he shared a similar line of thought with the goblins, though his questions were far more personal and urgent.

Who was he?

What were his plans?

But just as those questions surfaced in his mind, the black-robed figure scoffed and said,

"When are you really going to get strong enough?"

The casual wording and the tone behind it only deepened the unease in the air, making the silence feel even heavier.

Nonetheless, before Floki could even struggle to utter a single word, the black-robed figure dug his hand into his pant pocket and brought out a vial of green-colored liquid, which he then casually tossed toward him.

"Drink it."

He said, not bothering to explain what it was or why he was giving it.

Floki was not foolish.

This man looked weak, almost malnourished, was dressed neatly in black, could move without a sound, and most of all, seed completely unfazed by the goblins surrounding him.

While his physical appearance alone did not reveal much, his behavior made it clear that he was soone powerful, possibly an assassin or sothing even more dangerous.

From his words seconds ago, it was clear this person knew him.

And this sa person had just handed him a strange liquid he had never seen before. What if it was poison? He could not risk his life so carelessly.

He simply stared at the vial lying on the ground close to him, then shifted his gaze to the stranger, who remained watching him, still unbothered by the tension filling the room.

"That is a healing potion."

The stranger revealed, boredom evident in his voice.

’A healing potion? Is this guy serious?’

Floki thought to himself as he reached for the vial.

He expected the system to at least provide a brief explanation of the item. All systems should be capable of that, right?

Thankfully, this particular feature had not been restricted because of the Hell-level difficulty.

[Low-grade healing potion:

Restores 100 HP instantly after consumption. Also carries a soothing effect for all forms of open wounds. Nonetheless, this soothing effect does not apply to inner or soul injuries.]

It was indeed a healing potion.

After reading the description and confirming that what he held was safe for consumption, he uncorked the vial and gulped down the liquid without hesitation.

[You’ve consud a low-grade healing potion. 100 HP has been restored.]

As the liquid went down, he felt revitalized, and most of the pain he had felt earlier began to fade at a steady pace.

Unfortunately, the exhaustion caused by his low stamina remained. Thus, he still felt worn out, and his body remained heavy despite the recovery.

anwhile, the goblins had finished scrutinizing the stranger. Seeing that he had assisted Floki with the healing potion, they imdiately marked him as an enemy that needed to be eliminated.

Thus, with a loud cry in their unintelligible language, the seven goblin champions remaining in the hall charged toward him all at once.

Floki quickly pushed himself away from the wall, crawling as fast as he could to avoid being trampled by the enraged monsters. He did not stop until his back hit a strange rock protrusion in the middle of the cave, where he remained and watched the battle unfold.

’How strong is this guy?’ he wondered, hoping the fight would reveal at least sothing.

He briefly turned his head to observe the won, and each of them was watching as well, expectation and tension visible in their eyes.

Floki smiled wryly and apologized in his heart, knowing he was too weak to save them as he had intended.

He then shifted his gaze toward the obese goblin kings, and they too were completely focused on the unfolding scene.

Nonetheless, unlike the others, the stranger remained utterly unbothered.

Maintaining the sa tired posture and bored expression, he watched the seven goblin champions close in on him without any visible reaction.

CHEEE.. CHEE!

WHOOSH!

The seven of them sward him and swung their weapons at once, their attacks converging from all directions without hesitation.

’Is he even going to act?’ Floki lost hope simply watching how immobile he was while the goblins were on the verge of smashing him to death.

He began to lose hope again, but that thought was abruptly cut off when an action he could not describe took place before his eyes, one that was so unexpected that for the first ti, the obese goblin kings moved.
